Passport Services

The passport office is on the main road and parking is available with side vendors before the passport office on the left side at around 50 per hour. The entry itself is simple and they have an outside waiting area for anyone that has accompanied you, but this area is super hot with no fans and only chairs with shade. So wouldn't recommend waiting here for a long period. There is water and coffee etc sold at this area and the security guard mr nagaraj was very aware and helpful! If you need immediate cash for any process you can enquire with the parking guys who will charge you a small fee for cash. The process itself took a long time even through tathkal but the passport came in less than 24 hours renewed!!! I think we spent more time at the office than it took to reach our home! Overall good experience and I would recommend getting your passport renewed before it completely expires because that process is a lot easier than the process for expired passports!
