VFS Global (Canada Visa Application Centre)

My mom and dad recently went there for biometrics, and they were pressured to pay Rs 4000+ by saying the normal process would take a long time and that they might have to come back again. They made it sound like this payment was necessary, but it is actually for the premium lounge service, which is completely optional. One lady there even asked my mom whether she could read English or Kannada. They are visiting for a different purpose, not as students, so I don't understand why reading English was even relevant to the biometrics process. Biometrics and language ability are completely unrelated, and this felt unnecessary and inappropriate. Please be aware that you do NOT have to take the premium lounge service. There are cheaper courier options available, but they may not clearly explain this to you. If your parents or grandparents are going there, please be very careful. Make sure they understand that the premium lounge is optional and they should not feel forced to pay extra. Stay alert and informed before making any payment.

VFS is nothing but a money-grabbing operation. They aggressively push their useless "premium lounge" service for around 4000 rupees, even though it is completely unnecessary just to give biometrics. It feels like they are trying to squeeze extra money out of every applicant who walks in. The standard process works perfectly fine, but they make it seem like you need to pay more. Extremely disappointing and unethical behavior.

SCAM ALERT !!!! If you are going here to give your biometrics, please be careful of the scammers employed there. They will force you into getting the premium lounge facility saying that it offers passport courier services for Rs 4000+. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS !!!! This is an optional service (3000 - for skipping the queue + coffee & other refreshments + other unnecessary services, 1000 for passport return -> pick-up not included). You can opt for two-way courier services for Rs 700+ only). DON'T LET THESE SCAMMERS FORCE YOU INTO PAYING FOR THE PREMIUM LOUNGE !!! They never inform about the separate two way courier service, so ask them about this and pay for this only if you came with all the necessary documents informed about in the email. BE AWARE ! They will never mention the word Premium Lounge when asking you to pay Rs 4000+. So, please take note of this if your appointment is scheduled for VAC, Shobha Pearl, Bangalore.

I had a wonderful experience at the VFS Global Canada Visa Application Center during my biometrics appointment. The entire process was swift and handled with great efficiency. A special appreciation to Mr. Uday for his initial guidance, and to Samrin for helping me with all my paperwork so smoothly. Thank you to Tirupati for guiding me through the next steps. I couldn't catch the name of the person at the biometrics booth, but he was extremely polite and got everything done super quickly. And a warm mention to Sowmya at security, who guided everyone with a sweet smile. Overall, a very professional and pleasant experience. Highly appreciate the team!

I had a smooth experience for both biometric appointment and passport submission appointment. They let you in at appointment time or few minutes before. You will need to wait outside until then. Don't go too early to avoid waiting outside for a long time. I reccomend reaching 15 minutes before your appointment time. Once you head to the office I sure, they check your passport and biometric or passport request letter. They provide option of premium service for additional fee which I reccomend declining. It is organized well inside they give you a token number. For biometric appointment, it took me total of 25 minutes after getting in. For passport submission, it was around 15 minutes if you already have the forms filled out with courier address.

This place uses misleading tactics to push applicants into opting for the so-called "premium lounge," falsely claiming that the applicant must come personally to collect the passport. Even after charging an exorbitant amount, the overall experience was extremely poor. The officer at the biometric counter behaved very rudely toward my mother, who does not speak their language. Instead of being helpful or respectful, the staff showed a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. This is especially unacceptable when dealing with elderly applicants. Please beware: they will use any possible tactic to pressure you into purchasing premium services. There is no requirement to buy premium service for passport pickup or delivery - passports can be collected or delivered to any authorized person with proper consent. I would not recommend this service.

They're efficient inside, but applicants are made to stand on the road outside the gate. They can provide atleast chairs for all inside the building, specially for seniors.

Dear friends, please don't pay amount which they are asking for lounge service it's a big fraud , I would say because here standard beggars never let you think 1 minute either they never let you talk in the phone to decide what to do also they are involved in a standard cheating and highly qualified fraud people sitting in the VFS global Bangalore and they are doing fraud .and they never tell you that the lounge amount whatever you paid they won't refund if the visa is rejected. they are highly standard beggars I am sorry to say this, but I am totally upset by paying Rs.4333 my visa also rejected and they never even refund my amount even I contact them and I mail to them. they never even respond to us . So be careful.they only being nice until they take money. No one is taking action on them so please don't fall in their trap. If they are really prompt and customer friendly let them refund my amount then I will remove my review.
