Munnar Info - Meeting point

Great experience! I booked through Viator a half day hike in Munnar. The hike is a good mix of lush hills, tea plantations, rocks, etc and the pace makes it adequate to all levels. The views were stunning and our guide Manoj was very nice and experienced. He showed us the local flowers and plants, and explained about the tea plantations and the life of the workers (his mum is one of them!). It was very interesting and fun. He also provided snacks and drinks at a panoramic spot. I had an amazing time and I would contact them for other adventures in Munnar!

Munnar info os a really nice tour agency. They recommended us many tours that we really enjoyed: the full day trekking tour in the tea camps and hills, the tea- Factory tour, the Anakulam village tour and the acces to Chokramudi peak to see the sunrise. Our guide, Rajan, was unbeatable and teached us more than we could expect. Really really advisable exploring Munnar with this team!

I did two tours with this company and really enjoyed both. The Top Station sunrise tour with Mani was beautiful, and he spotted so much wildlife on the way -- porcupine, elephant, deer, rabbit and even monkeys during the hike. The wildlife tour with Surya was another great experience, and seeing more than 20 wild elephants relaxing in the water was absolutely unforgettable. Both guides were safe drivers and made the tours smooth and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this company.

The basic idea is you go on this safari in the hopes of seeing elephants in the wild. There are no guarantees but we were lucky we had Mr. Ganesh who went to great lengths to make our rained-out tour a resounding success. He made all the stops, took us to all the waterfalls, caves and stopped at all the best lookout spots (despite zero visibility at times). He shared his knowledge of the area and we learned a ton about the harvesting of tea. Plenty of pitstops with tea and lunch included so this was superb value for money. The tour was long (7 hrs) but it didn't feel like that and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Mr. Ganesh would have stayed until we saw an elephant but we, unfortunately, did not have the time to wait around until midnight.

We booked the short (3-hour) Viator walk through the tea plantations. Mani, our knowledgeable, articulate, and humorous guide, gave a clear and engaging explanation of the history and the entire tea-making process in Munnar. He also pointed out many other plants with medicinal properties. Highly recommended if you're looking for an easy, short walk. A visit to the tea museum in Munnar is also recommended!

Our Tea plantation tour with the Sunset view was worth every penny. Mr. Mani.S was very helpful, knowledgeable and a very sweet guy who helped us throughout this tour and was very kind enough to offer us some tea and biscuits at the sunset point.
