KIMSHEALTH Visa Medicals

On 6 December, my father-in-law visited KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum for a medical check-up. During an X-ray procedure, he inadvertently misplaced a gold chain in the radiology department, and the loss was noticed only after he had returned to our hometown in Ernakulam. After we informed the hospital, the staff coordinated with security and the concerned departments, located the gold chain, and kept it safely until it was returned on 8 December by Ms Sheeja V. Nair, HOD - Visa Medicals, KIMS Health. When we offered a reward or compensation, the team declined, stating that returning lost belongings was their duty, which reflects the honesty and integrity of the entire KIMS Hospital team.

Visited on 06/02/26 for visa medical for my baby,staffs specifically billing area female staff were extremely rude and not having a pleasing attitude towards others. Not smiling, talking angerrly and not keeping proper eye contact for communication.

Payment, Checkup, Urine sampling, Blood sampling, X-ray. It takes no more than 1 hour to do all these checks if there were better organization. We can book an appointment, but I didn't understand why. It took more than 5hours for me for the department to do these checks. They don't care whether we eat food or not. They don't even provide water. Whatever query we ask any staff the only reply is "we'll call you" which of course takes more than an hour. They have 4 cash payment counters but 1 reception, 1 X-ray with 1 staff, 1 staff for general Checkup and 1 staff for health Checkup. They charge you around 5000 which is understand but a common human would expect some services when they pay and not sitting around in a crowded room for more than 5hours. It doesn't make any sense at all why you prepaid for an appointment. A normal visit to a medical practitioner at a General Hospital is much easier than this.

I took an auto from Thampanoor and it cost me 170. If you are coming from Ernakulam side on a train, try to get down at Trivandrum Petta station as it's nearby the hospital. The whole process took me around 2 hours. Better to be on time and have something before you go in because once you enter in they won't let you go and come back. Its like back to back testing and process. They'll provide you food coupon which you can redeem at Olive restaurant which is situated just opposite to this medicals on the same floor. This is not on the main blocks, it on the right side building of the main block. Try to carry the smallest sling bag or a folder with your documents. The staff's and medical staffs are all really helpful. To book an appointment log on to the visa medical portal and fill up the details with small advance payment.

5 star facility with great ambience. Visited KIMS Visa Medicals for Canada visa medical checkups. It is a very well managed facility with proper appointment slots. People in reception gave a warm welcome and redirected us to the documentation area. After quick documentation and billing , they took us to blood tests, X-ray and doctor checks ups. All of these activities took less than 2 hours for 4 of us and they provided proof for medical checkups. Staffs were very cordial. Overall a great experience.

Excellent and efficient service! For my UK visa medical, I visited Kim Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Although I am from Kottayam and the nearest UK-approved medical center is in Kochi (just 2 hours from my house), I chose Thiruvananthapuram, which is 3.5 hours away. It was definitely worth it. I pre-booked my slot the day before and arrived 15 minutes early, expecting to wait for 4-5 hours for the whole procedure. However, everything was completed quickly, and the staff were very friendly. They guided me through the process and kept in touch with me throughout. The wait time between each step was a maximum of 15 minutes. The infrastructure was so well-maintained that it didn't feel like a hospital at all. It was very clean, and the entire process was smooth. The whole thing took only an hour, whereas in Kochi, it would have taken at least 3 hours. I also met several people who had traveled from Thrissur, Kozhikode, and even Kochi, even though their nearest medical center was in Kochi. Despite the influx of people, it didn't feel crowded at all. The staff also provide WiFi if you don't have internet.

A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for the determination of HbA1c the method which is rapid ie, 20 minutes. They made me sit for two and a half hours , Waiting... Even then the report wasn't generated. They never value time. I went on to ask after the blood sample collection sitting idle for half n hour, what's the next procedure , then only they themselves tried to know, whats next. Then they informed that the medical report has to come. Roughly even if they have that much crowd, as everything is systematic, this thing is taking hours . I think they don't know the value of time . There is no contact person named CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER or like... One thing I felt good was atleast a nurse named Rajani ..she came and asked me twice if I got any message on a report. Thanks to her. Just one small test, and this much time. Pathetic.
