Visited the FRRO Office in Mumbai for biometrics verification as part of the Fast Track Immigration Program. The biometrics counter is conveniently located on the 3rd floor, with a reception desk to guide visitors, making navigation easy. Staff throughout the office were polite and helpful, and the process was smooth. There were about 6 people ahead of me in the queue, so my wait time was roughly 25-30 minutes. The waiting area had plenty of chairs, making the experience comfortable. Once at the officer's desk, the actual biometrics process was quick--just 5-7 minutes. For documentation, you only need to carry your Passport and the QR code mentioned in their confirmation email. No surprises, and the essentials are well-organized--very impressed with the professionalism at this government office. Thank you to the immigration team! Suggestion: Timelines for enrolment confirmation in the Fast Track Immigration Program are not specified. It would help if clearer information was provided, especially for travelers needing quick confirmation. There must be a reason that aadhar biometrics is not used. Also, another visitor faced difficulty finding the location via Google Maps, so double-check the office coordinates before heading there.

Foreigners regional registration office FRRO is located very near by to the saint Xavier's college. All the officers here are very cooperative and patient. They guide you really well in case if there is any lacuna in your documentation and try their best to avoid your multiple rounds to the office. It doesn't feel like you visited an Indian government office, but feels like some efficient corporate office. Overall a good experience. If you were to visit this office from Pune then using Atal setu saves a lot of time. Parking is available in bylanes and bit expensive. Iconic snack places (Aaram, canon) are around the corner and can be visited for a quick byte.

I applied for FTI-TTP (Fast Track Immigration - Trusted Traveller Program). I I wrote an email to all Branches of Bureau of Immigration branches (around 12) for an appointment for biometrics for FRI-TTP processing. As online was giving me appointment month away. I chose to write an email. I got a phone call from Amritsar, Punjab; the officer on the other end was very courteous, professional and very informative. When I checked schedules of trains I will have to be in Amritsar for 5 to 7 days. That will cost me Rs 10K plus for biometrics etc. An expensive affair. I got replies to my emails from Mumbai and Hyderabad. The rest of the branches did not respond till I was writing this review. That's 20 days ago. Mumbai replied to my email (see screenshot) saying: Sir/Madam If you possess the QR Code generated at the time of registration , you may get your biometrics enrolled at this office on any working day beteen 10:00 AM and 04:00 PM. Regards OCI Branch FRRO Mumbai I choose to go to the Mumbai office. I got a train to Mumbai arriving at 8:30 AM. I arrived at their office at 9:45 AM (see picture). I was guided by the armed guard officer at the entrance to go to reception at the ground floor. The lady asked me to enter my details on the register. Then I was guided to the 3rd floor. I took the elevator. I was greeted by a lady at the window glass reception. She guided me to register myself on the right side and then go to the left side of the swing doors on that floor. I did as told. The officer on the right side instructed me to go on the left side beyond the swing doors at the door #4. The officer at door #4 was immediately available, he invited me inside and asked me to sit. Within 4 - 6 mins he took my photograph, finger prints etc. And that was all over. I thanked him, the reception lady, and the guards at the outside of the building and left looking for breakfast. Whosoever, I interacted with at the FRRO Mumbai branch were very courteous, professional and they completed their duty towards me. It was a delight to see professionalism at the very best. Mumbai FRRO office set an exemplary service office, in my eyes, I wish all govt offices do likewise. I had booked my return journey for the same day, train left at 4 pm and I arrived in my home town the next morning around 9:40 AM. Total expenses to and fro including Breakfast, Lunch and tea was around Rs 6K for biometrics. I think (and hope that one day) biometric processing can and be decentralised by the Govt of India in a new office perhaps named: Office of Biometrics) in all capital cities or similar of any state. It will save time and money for all consumers and applicants like me. Excellent service. Will suggest to all to get your biometric done in advance so as to avoid long queues at immigration counters. Staff at Office at Mumbai very cooperative and helpful. 5 star to all.

Came here on a Monday morning for FTI-TTP. Parking was difficult but available in the lane leading to the building. It is actually no parking so park at your own risk. Beware of people claiming to charge you to "watch your car". They ask to keep your keys with them. As far as the process, enter your details at the reception, go to the 3rd floor and all you need is your QR code and your passport. It takes literally 2 minutes and the approval came 3 hours later.

I went for biometric today for fast track immigration the staff is very nice and polite and very friendly and helpful thanks to immigration officers the process is very smooth just show QR code and carry passport it took only 3 minutes for fingerprints and foto for process

I filled the application online for my baby I read that the papers have to be submited and after investigation I came to know it can not be in the FRRO in Goa. It had to be in Bombai. I booked a shuttle and came by tube/meteo to Daveri..the roads are good. The office down the FRRzo building told me they open onky at 10. I am.not sure but from what I read I think may need hardcopies of the baby's photographs. It is not in the kist of docs but they say that if photos are not as per requirements the process can be rejected and delayed. When i reached there I just saw one small xerxo and photigraphy ship that told me they open only at 10. So had to search for photo studio and tea house and here I am after waljibg on other dangerous roads.
