After entering the IKEA building gate, you must go straight, and the PSK office is located on your left side. 6. After receiving the token, it may take 45 to 75 minutes for the passport processing. 7. Keep a photocopy of all the original documents along with it. 8. The staff is very nice and cooperative.

I visited the passport office today for the renewal of my child's passport. While the initial process was simple, the waiting time has been extremely frustrating. I arrived at 12:30 PM and have been waiting for counter C since 1:15 PM. The staff strength seems very low. Only two staff members are actively working, while others appear to be on leave or taking extended breaks. I also observed staff from Section C moving around in Section B and engaging in casual conversations instead of attending to applicants. This lack of focus only adds to the delays. It is especially difficult for children to wait for such long periods under these conditions. About five years ago, when the center was managed by Tata, the service was smooth and efficient. Unfortunately, the current experience is disappointing and feels like a waste of time. Additionally, for the past hour, only Tatkal applicants are being attended to. It is unfair to make normal applicants wait indefinitely. Proper management should ensure both categories are handled efficiently. Overall, the process needs improvement in staffing, supervision, and applicant prioritization to avoid causing inconvenience to families.

This was by far the most disorganised centre I've experienced. It was overcrowded well beyond its capacity, and the staff appeared stressed and at times rude. Even basic services were frustrating -- the photocopy vendor charged 5 for a single black-and-white copy and was discourteous in his behaviour. There was little to no guidance on the next steps, no proper token system, and inadequate facilities such as seating or drinking water. If you're looking for a smooth and stress-free verification experience, I would strongly suggest avoiding this location. I chose this centre only because it was close to where I live, but I would not visit it again. The overall atmosphere felt more like a busy railway station than a passport service centre.

This office doesn't provide smooth processing. My father's appointment was booked here and agent selected wrong supporting documents for renewal of passport but he is having other correct documents to support renewal of passport. Madam on counter just denied she didn't try to solve the issue and make it possible. Sir on another counter was guiding her we can accept this application as my father was having correct supporting documents for address proof and dob as per the list of documents mentioned on passport site. But she straight away decline and in few minutes said "dusra appointment lo" "niklo yaha se" behaviour was too rude. Neither helpfull not problem solver. Unnecessarily delaying procedure and troubling senior citizens. He is having expired passport still this office is troubling people. My sister had booked appointment in Thane office that time as well same agent had mentioned incorrect educational documents but in Thane office staff was too cooperative and she did correction in application form and new passport was issued. But in parel they had rejected so many application infront of my father. I would recommend not to book appointment in Parel office even if there is slight discipency. It's been a month now after appointment and two months after filling form. Waiting was for 1 month. I would request this office to please don't trouble people unnecessarily especially senior citizens if they have alternative supporting documents other than what agent has mentioned in application. It's very difficult for senior citizens to travel for 6 hours to reach your office time and again. Or enable option to edit the form from agents end. So we can ask agent to ammend the form.

I went there for my daughter's passport renewal. I applied for passport services under the Tatkaal scheme. During my visit to the Passport Seva Kendra, my application status was incorrectly changed from Tatkaal to Ordinary. The officials acknowledged this as a mistake and assured me that it would be corrected. However, the application continues to be processed under the Ordinary category. There has been no accountability for this error, and I have not received any support or resolution despite multiple follow-ups.
