I would like to sincerely thank the lady officer at the SP Office for her excellent support during my passport process. My work was stuck for 15 days, and I was very worried. However, after she looked into the matter, she processed and completed the work within a single day. She was very polite, professional, and extremely helpful. Her quick action, efficiency, and positive attitude truly made a big difference. I genuinely appreciate her dedication and outstanding service. Thank you for resolving my issue so promptly.

The verification service is extremely poor and disorganized. Applicants are made to run from the local police station to the Passport CID Branch at Fort repeatedly, without any resolution. The overall experience is highly unsatisfactory, with no proper communication or timely response from the concerned staff.

They are too good once you visit team will action on the same day. I have checked the reviews and visited sp office and my work done in a day. Thank you so much to the SP office team and people who posted reviews due to which I have visited there.

The madam at the counter was so prompt and helpful - i am amazed at the efficiency and helpful nature of the office. Even the police station immediately sent the scan of my passport file to the SP counter outside and processed it within 10 mins. God bless the staff.

This office is at a walkable distance from the CSMT station. Take the underbridge and the first right stairs towards to TOI office . Walk further and then take a left and walk straight dead end. The lady at counter was very polite and had all relevant information.

The office is just 10 minutes walk from CSMT railway station. When you reach St. Xavier college, turn right and you will arrive the SB office soon. You can't go inside the office instead you need to go to the window for your query. There will be one lady sitting there, you just need your passport application no. to access the information of your passport application. They will let you know if your police verification is done or not you can also ask them to process the application further. After the SB office your application will reach RPO. I hope this will be helpful to you and all the best if you are making your passport from mumbai . Ps. Go between 10 am to 3 pm and there will be no queue.

I had been to SP office yesterday (05/12/2025) to get my passport cleared and it was cleared on the same day. The lady at the counter window was very co-operative and professional. Thank you

My passport file was pending for seven days at the SP office for review . I visited on August 13th 2025, and a very helpful lady at the counter asked for my file number she told me it would be cleared in two days. The very next day, my file was cleared. I'm so thankful for her help.
