Passport Seva Kendra, Andheri

Visited the Passport Seva Kendra at Andheri East, Mumbai today for my passport renewal, and overall it was a smooth experience. My appointment was at 10:30AM. I reached at 9:45 AM and was completely done by 10:45 AM -- very efficient! The entire process at Passport Seva Kendra Andheri East was well managed: * Counter A - Photograph & biometrics (quick and smooth)* Counter B - Document verification (fastest process)* Counter C - Final approval and stamping (also very quick) Movement between counters A, B, and C was seamless. Staff at most counters were professional and efficient. The security guard was polite and helpful. The only downside was the lady issuing tokens at Counter 2 (wearing glasses). She was quite rude and could definitely improve her communication. Maybe she was overworked, but basic courtesy goes a long way. Another suggestion: the toilets need better maintenance. Having a dedicated cleaner stationed there would improve hygiene standards significantly. For anyone going for renewal without any changes, it's not complicated at all. I carried: Voter ID PAN Card Aadhaar (A4 printed version with verified signature, not just the smart card) Original passport + photocopies of first and last two pages All self attested.. They only asked me for the Voter ID & my passport during the process. No one asked for DigiLocker or any digital documents. Overall, apart from one staff interaction and the restroom cleanliness, it was a very good and efficient experience. All officers were kind n helpful .Thank you

Well appointed and spacious place. TCS staff complete verifying, scanning and photographing very efficiently. However there is delay in second and third stage wherein passport office staff verify, grant the cases. They should deploy more staff as there,seems to be bottleneck at these stages and this causes lot of delay due to heavy rush of people and work load.

I recently visited the Passport Seva Kendra at Andheri for my passport appointment. The overall system is organized, but the behaviour of some staff members was very rude and unprofessional. Instead of guiding applicants properly, they spoke in a discourteous manner and were not cooperative when asked basic questions regarding the process. Applicants come here for an important government service and deserve respectful communication and proper guidance. I hope the authorities take note of this issue and ensure better behaviour and professionalism from the staff. Pathetic and Rude staff

Today I visited the Andheri Passport Seva Kendra, and my experience was very good. All the staff members were very supportive and helpful, including the gate security. The entire process was smooth and well managed. I truly appreciate their cooperation and professionalism.

Very organized. Be patient. Lunchtime 1.30-2pm. Regardless of the break, the process is efficient and moves quickly. Speak only on need to know basis with the passport team. Spend time on passport website before showing up. Cafeteria for snacks is well stocked. Parking outside gate costs 90rs for four wheeler.

The TCS staff working here are very helpful, knowledgeable, and quick. However, when we receive the appointment confirmation email, it would be ideal if the list of required documents is mentioned clearly in advance. This would help applicants come fully prepared and avoid unnecessary rescheduling. Fortunately, I was carrying an extra folder with additional documents just in case, so I didn't have to make another trip. However, I noticed several people who came for their appointments and had to leave with only the document checklist provided at the center, which seemed ineffective at that stage. I am attaching a photo of the checklist here for reference, just to give an idea of how it looked. Rest everything was great.

I recently applied for a *Tatkal passport* for my 6-year-old daughter at the *Passport Seva Kendra, Andheri East (Powai area)*. While I appreciate the efficiency in issuing the passport--received it the very next day--it has turned out to be of no use since the passport is valid only after *police verification*. Unfortunately, the police verification process is unnecessarily delayed, as the concerned officer has yet to visit our residence even after *5 days*. This delay is causing us significant inconvenience, and we are unable to travel on time due to this *negligence*. Chandivali Powai police station I request the *Passport Seva Kendra* and relevant authorities to intervene and ensure that such delays in police verification are addressed seriously. This defeats the purpose of opting for the *Tatkal service*, which is supposed to be expedited.

As a new passport applicant, the overall process takes around 2-3 hours, which is understandable. There are three counters--A, B, and C. Counters A and B were working smoothly and handling the crowd efficiently. However, only one Counter C was operational, which caused a significant delay. I had to wait for nearly 2 hours just for Counter C verification. This made the overall experience tiring and frustrating.
