Sakinaka Sub Post Office

Had a pleasant experience. Visited the Sakinaka Post Office for which I had to climb the stairs. But on seeing the queue first I thought of returning. Considering the steps I have to climb if I were to come back again, I stayed and waited in the queue. Pleasant surprise was that the long queue was served within 18 minutes and my work was completed within next 2 minutes. The staff in the counter was very efficient and helpful. Kudos.

Its Located on Saki Vihar Road in Ansa Building around 500 meters from Sakinaka Junction - Sakinaka Metro. Timing for Registered Post is till 4 PM And other postal services including Speed Post up to 5 PM, Saturdays timing till 2 and 3 PM. All facilities such as Postage, Postal Insurance, Post Bank , International Parcels are available. Not much public crowed may take 15 to 20 minuted for Speed Post And all.

A returned speed post article was delivered to me in five minutes. Courtious and helpful staff

The place is not wheelchair accessible and the service is a mess. There's always a huge queue and there's no proper management of customers at this place.

My mother visited that post office for fourth time for Aadhaar related query but no one bothered to solve her problem, even no one came home for biometric of my 86 years old grandmother, she can't even walk, so we requested post office officials to come and do that process but till now no one came.

SAKINAKA POST OFFICE IS THE WORST POST OFFICE IN MUMBAI I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Sakinaka post office. Every employee I interacted with was incredibly rude and condescending, behaving as if they were doing us a favor by doing their job. Their attitude towards the public is unacceptable, treating us like we are beneath them. The speed post service is the worst I have ever encountered. They show no willingness to deliver letters and often return them without any notification. This lack of professionalism and customer service is appalling. I strongly advise avoiding this post office if you can.

For major city's transections it opens at 7 AM. I reached at 7:35 AM and left in 15 min after completing my transaction. Govt. needs to upgrade office infrastructure for people who are working full day there.

I was supposed to get a document delivered to me sent by my brother. These guys didn't even attempt delivery and even after full address and all details were given. They just gave a reason that insufficient address and sent the documents back. Now I don't know where the document is stuck.
