My passport is issued in Bangalore so I travelled here & applied by self & got 30days single entry tourist visa. No need of any appointments. Just walk-in with the online filled application you are let inside based on first-come-first-serve basis. For any help you can reach out to me. 1. Google maps mentions that Visa office opens at 9am, but nope!! it opens at 8am exact. 2. People start queuing on the street from 7am only. The security will start letting you in from 8am. 3. There will be two queues one for self applicants & other for agents. Few people from both the queues are let inside at a time. 4. Located on 8th floor. Once you reach there strict security check is done. 5. You'll be given a token number & asked to wait in waiting hall. Once the number appears on screen you'll go to respective counter & submit the docs. 6. There are plenty of counters & waiting there won't be of much time. 7. Once the documents are accepted & cash payment is done you'll be given pickup form mentioning the expected collection date of passport. 8. No fingerprints are collected for tourist visa. 9. Even during peak hours the total time spent here would be maximum 30mins. Overall it was good experience. You can reach here on cheap option by using double-decker bus that start from outside of CST station.

Smooth experience. I filled online form new process. It took roughly 20 days for review completed status . Then went to Mumbai ( I applied from Bangalore ). Gave the passport in morning 8 o clock . They gave pickup date in form . Went to the centre that date afternoon 2 pm . Collected the passport

Smooth experience of application submission and passport collection. Since they have started online document submission and approval process, you don't need to submit any documents at the time of appointment. Pros-Good location, helpful staff, fast process Cons-Only cash accepted, no photocopy inside, no lockers for laptops.

Staff members often display a lack of attitude and fail to provide proper justification. You can see the attitude reflected on their faces as if we are beggars asking them for money. No cooperation and they will make you run 100 times.

Super frustrating experience! The VFS office is really agent-oriented - they seem to prioritize agents over applicants. I've submitted my application twice, but they haven't given me a clear reason why my visa got rejected. Without knowing the reason, it's tough to fix the issue for the next submission. And to top it off, their customer care isn't helpful at all .

We are exhibitor at Canton fair. We have participated before covid 4 times and post covid 4 times. Every time we got our VISA on time but when on 20th October' 2025, applied for VISA which got refused on 24th October' 2025. Re-applied Visa on 27th October' 2025 till now no status. Also note the All past and present application was done with Covering Letter from Company and Invitation Letter from Canton Authority stating we are Exhibition. When VISA's are refused no reason provided. Sir, we spend huge amount for participation and our half of the display samples are lying in India and Fair start from 31st October' 2025. Very much disappointed.:((

Unhelpful and rude staff. Did not allow personal water bottle in the facility and gave no direction on where one can store it. They also only accept cash, no digital payments supported which is very odd.

The form has to be filled up very very cautiously.. Any. Silly mistake also. They will send FOR VIP service to where you may have to uncessaarily shell out 2800.00. So chfck twice.. Before you submit. Spelling mistakes.. Print outs.. Etc Thanks
