PSK experience - Done in 30 mins! Finished my PsK appointment today and it was surprisingly smooth. * Arrive Early: My slot was 9:45 AM, but I got there at 9:00 AM. They scanned my receipt and let me in immediately. * The DigiLocker benefit: Upload your docs to DigiLocker when applying online. It saves a ton of time at the counters. * Keep it Simple: Aadhaar, PAN, and 10th Marksheet. * Carry one set of photocopies. Write "Self-attested" and sign them beforehand to stay ahead. * Whole process: You get one Token No. and move from Counter A to B to C. Just keep an eye on the screens in the waiting area. * Ooyeah one more thing......If you notice any mistakes in your application (name, address, etc.) after online submission, Counter A is the place to fix it. Tell the staff there and they can edit the details before it's finalized.

Just superb service. Kudos to Tata's for making citizens life easy . If only other Govt services were like this . Amazing is the least word that can be used to describe them . Be Smart... Don't Choose for SMS services and for Passport cover...SMS are already provided by Govt Site for free.. And don't pay 550-600( kind of loot) for passport cover..(it's optional) .. If you are wealthy then it's your choice..

I visited here today for my New passport application, whole process was completed in 1 hour. Only 2 documents were checked - Aadhar & 10th marksheet. Nothing else. Don't know why people on youtube keep saying 5-6 documents are needed. They have Photocopy facility also which is good.

Important Instructions for Document Verification Identity & Education Proof: - Your Aadhar card, 10th Marksheet, or PAN card will serve as proof of identity, residence, and educational qualification. Originals and one photocopy are mandatory. (Note: Digital Documents not Accepted: Office does not accept DigiLocker, Rajasthan eVault, or any other digital formats) Photograph - Carry one photo. Government Servent - Come up with Annexure - A attested by Higher authority (Eg. Principal). Married: - Bring the original and one copy of your Marriage Certificate or Annexure-J. --- Reporting Time: - Arrive at the office on time. Just showing the SMS of your slot allotment is enough to start the process. No need to carry a printout of the form. Token System: - Your Token Number will be shown on the display screens. Steps B and C involve document verification. Avoid Overpriced Passport Cover: - Don't spend 400-500 on plastic/leather covers. Local shops offer them for 20-50. On August 1st, 2023, I visited the passport office for my 9:30 am slot. Initially, there were few people, but the crowd grew over time. Remember to carry photocopies of your documents or small change for the photocopy shop inside to avoid overcharging. Inside the office, start by obtaining a token number from the counter upon entering. Watch for labels indicating counters for normal and tatkal passports. Your token number will be written on your application; wait in the backside waiting area until it's displayed on the screen. There are counters A, B, and C. Begin at counter A for signature and photograph, then proceed to the waiting area in front of counters B and C. When your token number appears for counters B and C, head there for document verification. After counter C, complete a feedback form near the exit. Keep an eye on the screen throughout the process, and consider bringing earphones for music. Allow around 2 hours; reaching on time is essential as they won't let you in early. Regarding Google Maps, it's important to note that relying solely on it for directions may not be sufficient. When you approach the Orbit Mall on the highway, Google Maps might indicate that you've reached your destination. However, this doesn't mean you should jump from there. To avoid confusion, it's recommended to seek directions from locals once you're in the vicinity. So, don't fully rely on Google Maps' estimated time of arrival. Passport Seva Kendra(PSK) Jaipur Is a systematic unit. Well qualified team and behaviour of staff is very friendly. It take around 40min to complete the whole process.

There is no sitting/waiting space available for the accompanying member to sit in or around the Jaipur PSK in Orbit Mall. Applicants do arrive with an assist (friend/husband/mother/etal) and they are made to roam-around in the corridor. The Mall itself is a crowded place with no visitor lounge/bench anywhere.
