Timings as seen in this photo. There are two counters for banking and it's from 10 am to 4 pm. Stamp sale starts from 9 am. There is a token system. As soon as you enter the post office on the left there is a machine and one has to take a token and wait till it's called out and listed on the display. Also I read for Aadhar also tokens needed and heard something like 50 tokens per day. Typically customer services go on till 3 pm (attached photo says 4 pm). After 3 pm till 5:30 pm and even till 6 pm the staff work on clearing the days request (not client facing work) Hard working. Thank you PO staff.

horrible service , i had given a parcel to them on 15th morning 9 am which has to be delivered in omr chennai. its been more than 24 hrs and not yet delivered. i myself would have gone and given it would have took only 30min. It is a birthday gift for my friend, Now birthday itself over , and it turned out be a big disappointment. At least they should have informed me if their will be some delay.. horrible services, for shipping within local pls use uber parcel or ola parcel delivery , its far better.

I went for name update in Aadhar at 10.30am. It seems Aadhar tokens are given only at 9am. The staff asked me to come at 8am so that I'll get token on first come first serve basis. Much crowded. Plan accordingly.

There was no crowd when I came here in the afternoon, so the service was made quickly. One of the Very big post office in Chennai. They have both domestic and international courier services here.

Yesterday I went to update my address in Aadhar. I went in the evening after 4 pm. Mr. Anbarasan was very helpful and finished the process in less than 20 minutes. I think if you bring the exact documents things move quickly. I had all of them. Speed postman Anbu was most helpful in this regard. I think a separate enquiry desk for aadhar queries and screening will definitely hasten the process. The Aadhar operator was multi tasking and needs additional hands. Babies and Senior citizen should get preference. Since this post office is large and well llocated with parking I am sure a separate floor with more counters for Aadhar is will be most helpful. Earlier I tried to update online via UDAI but the process is cumbersome and never gets completed. Total waste of time via online. Time taken to get new or updated card will around 4 weeks minimum. Thank you Anbarasan and Anbu. Follow up. The address update happened online in about week and received the hard copy of the Aadhar after a month of application submission.

Hi Sir/Madam, When will you give the token for aadhaar card apllication, Want to apply the aadhaar card for my son. Can You reply for it it anyone who already taken the service?

Went for international courier...lunch time 1:30 to 2pm... need to take a photo copy of your Indian ID.

I have noticed that they tend to keep customers waiting for extended periods without any clear communication or updates. Moreover, despite having a token system in place, it seems that it is not being managed effectively, which adds to the frustration experienced by the customers. It may be worth considering whether a different approach, potentially utilizing an account with a government bank, might provide a better customer experience.
