I was advised to submit a grievance here for fast action. I went there not knowing what to expect. Here's what I found and I was genuinely impressed with the access that public -across all walks of life, have to the collector's office: Grievance day is Monday of every week Grievances are submitted in a written petition, largely submitted in Tamil. They also accept English. There is a line to the counter where the petition / grievance is recorded and advised to be sent in to the office Then, one goes into the collector's office where there are a lot of officers waiting to collect the grievances and direct it to the concerned officers Action was taken in the next 2 days (as I had requested expediency) through a WhatsApp message sent to the office in the area of concern No unnecessary hassles, questions or other hindrances. Transparent and a bias for action! One thing to note - they don't let bags into the office - to protect the safety of the officers inside. However, there is no assurance that the belongings will be safe. It is a faith based system. I hope this is taken care of, so people feel confident of the safety of their bags. It's cool to see the government body function this way

This collectrate office is located near to the way tiruchirapalli central busstand. This place is easy to access from the main road. Busiest road in trichy town. You can reach the collector office main block on from the entrance 200m.

Collector sir in Trichy city many Barry Guards create blind spot while driving. I can't inform to traffic police by reviews. Please remove blind spot in all Barry guards.
