Passport Seva centre - vikarabad

I want to give one star because the staf person is not reachable and he wear mask inside the office wearing mask is his issue but we are waiting out side there is no waiting area also there are only 4 to 6 chairs the crowd is very high and all candidates are standing infornt of door so there is no mic and nothing there is no saftey guard also and when he call batch number we cannot hear his sound and he not call by sequence he call by his self that like he chooses his random number or what and when it comes to my number I went to counter and iam applying fresh passport and when iam in the chair and I have given my documents then suddenly he is saying that I need signature marked aadhar so after taking signature aadhar also he don't call immediately he call after 1 hour or 2 hours later so before going to there take and go signature aadhar and then put your signature on Xerox copies and no need to take and application receipt you can show in your phone and main topic xeroxs in that area the Xerox copies are too expensive the rate is 3 times of normal one and I think he also have contribution ( iam saying to whoem everyone know ) so this is cons and pros are u think we don't have any pros and another thing there is no toilets and the area is unhygienic and this my one star review and if you say about processing it depends upon documents not on pspk officer

Visited: 28 July 2025 Woke up at 4:00 AM Took a local train from Falaknuma to Vikarabad, reached by 8:20 AM just to make sure I didn't miss my appointment Documents Xerox Aadhaar Pan Marksheet Appointment Even helped a poor man outside the office thinking maybe the day will go well But inside the passport office... began the real test Office opened late No chairs. No queue No token display Staff spoke like we were beggars not applicants I waited And waited. And waited Not for minutes. But for hours Standing. Silent. Sweating Watching my appointment time get ignored Around me: old men on the floor women leaning against walls youngsters looking lost My turn finally came at 1:40 PM -- more than 3 hours late I was tired, hungry and mentally numb My application was perfect nothing missing But still they poked delayed and pushed Finished at 1:55 PM No joy No relief Just burnout I went there as a citizen I came back feeling invisible This is not a complaint It's a warning. If you're visiting this place carry your documents... and double your patience. Because here time respect and humanity all get left at the gate

Decent services from POPSK, Vikarabad. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a passport related services. Since Hyderabad passport offices are always overcrowded, it is difficult to get a slot immediately. This office is less crowded, employees are knowledgeable, cooperative and you can get your work done quickly. Make sure to bring all your documents, photocopies (xerox) of documents need to be of high quality otherwise POPSK employees will give you hard time. Make sure your name is printed the same in all your documents, if not you need to provide more supporting documents. There are no walk-in services, you need to book your slot in advance. The office seems to be old, I could see that ceiling is slowly getting peeled off, watch out for your safety (see the attached images).

Totally Unorganised. Very much Understaffed. Irresponsible behaviour. Don't book slot here. It will mostly lead to slot rescheduling. The person at PSK (seq.2/4) is looking to somehow reject the applications ( Aadhar downloaded from mAadhar is invalid here). A lot of people were asked to reschedule. When questioned, he says that Hyderabad has 3 PSKs so go book there.

Visited the Passport Seva Kendra in Vikarabad for renewal today. Though the office looks a bit old and lacks modern infrastructure, the staff were efficient, polite, and got everything done in under 10 minutes. Far better than the long wait times in Hyderabad. Don't go by the negative reviews--service here is truly commendable.

Vikarabad PSK has only two executives to submit your passport application. They are capable to handle 30 to 50 applicants per day all together. But unfortunately they(or passport authorities) are providing 100+ slots per day. This makes our life miserable. My slot was at 11.30 am and I got my turn at 3.30 pm. No wash rooms and no drinking water. Also, those who submit applications here, the complete application process take more than that of submitting in local hyderabad PSK's (like Tolichowki, begumpet etc..) I mean, verification , printing and dispatching. This center is suitable for people coming from neighbouring small villages, towns. Both the executives are supportive but they are unable to fulfill many slots in a day

The office space is quite compact, which contributes to a feeling of being crowded.

This is inside the Vikarabad Post Office, a separate small section manned by a very efficient person. Small place but clean, just about 10 minutes for each applicant's process to be completed. After 06 months, accompanied my wife today (10Feb2025) for her passport renewal. Two additional counters now in place although staff is new and learning themselves. Still a very good place to choose, no crowds at all. Anyday - better than going to a more crowded processing center.
